From IMDB: A homicidal turkey axes off college kids during Thanksgiving break. That about sums it up – but really… you have to watch ThanksKilling to really know its wonder, to experience the mystique, to laugh your effing ASS off!
This wonderful little b-movie masterpiece does have quite a few *crickets* moments, but far more big laughs and uncontrollable giggles as the cast makes their way through this ridiculous ‘plot’ with memorable gems that will be forever quoted by all who watch. Unlike most big ticket horror movies these days, not a single actor took themselves too serious. I mean of course they were joking, and if you didn’t get that – YOU were the one trying far too hard. You can often catch them laughing at how inane their own action, or completely stupid the line, and foolish the scene.
The real star is a hand-puppet named simply ‘Turkey’. He is a foul-mouthed filthy little bird that kills all in his path in the most goofy ways possible. The only way to stop him?? An algebra equation turned rambled chant as read from a cardboard textbook. Turkeyologists everywhere…
He is also a master of disguise, a passionate (and protected) lover, and a magician of sorts.. with super powers. Next time… IN SPACE! Gobble Gobble……
And if you want to truly express your friendship with your bestie… this emotional hymn from the movie will surely speak from the heart.
This movie is SO EPIC, not a single critic has reviewed it on Rotten Tomatoes!
